Greg Schaefer, CPA

Greg Schaefer is executive vice president and chief financial officer of MidFirst Bank, one of the largest privately held banks in the nation. Greg is responsible for corporate finance, strategic planning, accounting, investments, and many aspects of corporate governance. Since joining MidFirst in 2000, Greg has also served in leadership roles within consumer banking, real estate development, and mergers and acquisitions. He serves on the boards of MidFirst affiliates LifeShield National Insurance Company, Individual Assurance Company, and MidFirst Business Credit, Inc. Greg is a certified public accountant and previously worked as a senior associate at Arthur Andersen, where he performed financial statement audits of public companies. Greg holds a BBA in accounting and an MBA in organizational development from Oklahoma Christian University. Greg and his family, reside in Edmond, Oklahoma, and are active members and leaders at the Memorial Road Church of Christ.
